All you Ottawan lululovers debating whether or not to risk frostbite for a stab at cheap luon, the overwhelming response after the successful Calgary sale is GO GO GO!!! The Calgary sale has sadly come and gone, but most customers walked out with some pretty kick ass bargains.
Word on the street is that items were averaging 40-80% off - and that the sales got better and better towards the end. Lines were long, but it sounds like lulu managed to wrangle the crowds once they got inside, and that the tills / mass change rooms* ran like a well oiled machine.
According to lululover poster Jenna, “If you go closer to the end of the sale they are HUGE deals and people are so sick and tired of the line ups all weekend that the wait has totally slimmed down by the time Sunday has rolled around. This is a clearance, they do not want to pack all this stuff up again! It is well worth it in my experience. GO!”
Selection is good - and according to poster K, “If you are a 6 or an 8, this is the sale for you.” While scuba hoodies and larger sized items seemed hard to come by, pretty much everything else - from jackets to groove pants, to tanks to tech tops - was in stock and marked down like crazy.
Mark from Calgary emailed us to let us know “Some things were there on sale for under ten bucks.” Gasp!
So, go, brave the cold and shop! You’ve got THREE days left all you lucky Ottawans.
*And yes, you read that right, the change rooms are “group” change rooms. If you want to snag a bargain you’d better be able to strip down to your skivvies in front of total strangers - either that or wear a bodysuit.
