You may have been hearing educators in stores talk about a new fabric called lulutallic and wonder what the heck it is. Essentially, lulutallic is similar to luon (lululemon’s signature nylon lycra blend) - with a shiny, brushed metal look to it.
lulutallic has wicking and quick dry properties, is stretchy, and is machine washable. Though I do find that for the first couple of times when you wear the garment, your sweat will show up more readily. This can be eliminated simply by washing the item a few times.
lulutallic has a great, dressy look to it. It’s also super smooth and feels very cool against the skin. For people looking for a lighter, smoother, dressier alternative to luon - they’ll find it in lulutallic!
Currently many of your standby lulu garments are coming out in lulutallic - sometimes the full item is made of lulutallic, or sometimes this fabric is only a trim or detail.
(On the photo above you’ll notice that the bottom half of the Studio jacket (and the arms) are made of lulutallic. See how it kind of looks shiny?)

So THAT’S what it’s called! I have a pair of Surya pants (most favourite Lulu pants ever) with trim detail in that, and I love it.
